My review:

First of all, I should mention that this book is written when I was a kid and is published when I was 6 years old. The bad things is that I read it now, and I’m 25 years old. Still. What should mean this and what is its connection with the book? Let me explain.
For me this book is totally and only for teenagers. The main character Poppy is 16 yeas old and book is written mostly from her point of view. Childish. The story is kinda boring, I can say. There is nothing so interesting, nothing I haven’t read yet. I should say of course, that probably this is the primary source book, from which most of the authors stole something.
I totally recognize 3 different series, with such story and absolutely the same story line.

Talking about characters – Poppy. Poppy is the common girl, which fell in love with the different guy – the vampire. And very soon that same vampire fall in love with her too. And then he turns her into vampire too. The only different, but strange character at the same time is Phil – Poppy’s brother. I would like to read some more about him, but the story ends in such unexpected way. There is even thing I didn’t understand why they are in the book.

All in all, this book is mostly for teens! Not so recommended!
