Here it is yet another week and I’m here with my Top 5 Wednesday post. Top 5 Wednesday is a weekly meme/challenge for book bloggers – visit the original Goodreads group here! This week we’re talking about the series, in which the second book is the best and let me see what books comes in my mind!
5. Jill Hathaway – Impostor
I loved the first book, but the second topped it for sure. Vee can “slide” in other minds, but in this one one more “slider” appears and the things go more and more complicated. There’s also better romance here and better explanations. Definitely my favorite.
4. Cvetelina Vladimirova – Paziteli (Guardians)
This is a Bulgarian YA fantasy book, which takes place in Russia and Bulgaria and it’s probably the best fantasy by Bulgarian author I’ve ever read. While the first book explore the “world” (we get to know the new creatures and hidden relationships), the second one was fast paced, full of combats and so much more I can’t even explain.
3. Deborah Harkness – Shadow of Night
This book takes place in the past and the main character learns so much more about herself and her power. Also, there is so much historical elements and the story was revealed absolutely fascinating. I loved the first book, but this one added more to the story line.
2. Cassandra Clare – Lord of Shadows
“Lady Midnight” was awesome book, but “Lord of Shadows” just blew me away! More explanations, more actions, more interesting (and returning) characters and gave me tons of emotions! So better!
1. Sarah J. Maas – A Court of Mist and Fury
Is there any need to write something about this book! It’s pure masterpiece!!!
