Amairo’s Weekly Reading

Amairo’s Weekly Reading #2

Hello! おはよう!안녕하세요!

Another Monday, another weekly post. Let’s see how my reading went last week as well as what I expect this week. Spoiler alert: last week was not that good as I expected it to be.

Plan to read this week!

How to Be a Bawse

I plan to actually finish “How to Be a Bawse: A Guide to Conquering Life” by Lilly Singh. This is non-fiction book, which I’m almost halfway through. I like it so far and I’m positive I’m going to read all of it for sure.

The second book is “Wicked Fox” by Kat Cho. I wanted to read it for so long and I borrowed a copy of it many months ago. So, it’s finally time to actually read it and return it. If I like it, I may buy my own copy.

What I actually read last week

Last week was a disaster, let me tell ya. I wasn’t reading the first two days, then on Wednesday and Thursday I read the whole “Aurora Rising” by Amie Kaufman and Jay Kristoff. And then I read almost nothing. I just started reading “How to Be a Bawse” and that’s it. I hope this week will be better and I’ll manage to finish more than one book. But let’s see!

Also, I put “Godsgrave” at a pause this week, because I’m not feeling it and need to read something lighter before heading back to the murderous plots of Jay.

Quote of the Week

“Who wants to be normal when you can be interesting instead?”

Amie Kaufman & Jay Kristoff, Aurora Rising
