Top 5 Wednesday: Second Book is Best

Here it is yet another week and I’m here with my Top 5 Wednesday post. Top 5 Wednesday is a weekly meme/challenge for book bloggers – visit the original Goodreads group here! This week we’re talking about the series, in which the second book is the best and let me see what books comes in my mind! 5. Jill Hathaway – Impostor I loved the first book, but the second topped it for sure. Vee can “slide” in other minds, but in this one one more “slider” appears and the things go more and more complicated. There’s also better romance here and better explanations. Definitely my favorite. 4. Cvetelina Vladimirova…

Cassandra Clare – Lord of Shadows

Lord of Shadows Author: Cassandra Clare Date read: 29 May 2017 Times read: 1 Book page I loved it and I hated it! “Lord of Shadows” is the second book of “The Dark Artifices” trilogy, which follows the story of the main characters Emma Carstairs and Julian Blackthorn and the Blackthorn family in general. You’ve been warned! So the book started where “Lady Midnight” left us and we’re seeing how the relationship between Mark and Emma works, which…

    Cassandra Clare – Lady Midnight

Lady Midnight Author: Cassandra Clare Date read: 24 May 2017 Times read: 2 Book page After the second reading, I can finally write a review… Yes, it took me a whole year to write a review of Lady Midnight. A few days ago, I finished the second reading of the book to prepare for the release of the second book of the trilogy, and I’m glad that I did it. Although it is the first book of a new series, “Lady Midnight” definitely requires you to read the other books of the world of Shadowhunters. Here we get acquainted in detail with Emma and Julian, whom we met in “City…

    May Wrap Up

I haven’t been here for a long time, I know. But here I am, finally, and these are the books that I read during the month of May! Yeah!~ A Court of Wings and Ruin by Sara J Maas This is the third and final book from Feyre’s POV in ACOTAR world. And I love it. Queen Maas made me laugh, made me cry, made me want to throw the book away, but it was worth it. I love the ending and all the things that happened. All characters were very interesting and I can’t wait to see from which point of view will be the next book. Obviously, 5/5…

    August Wrap Up

So, August came to its end and now there is the beginning of the autumn coming up. (Yes, I pretty much mess British with American English, and yes, I do prefer the word autumn instead of fall). Anyway, I put myself on a challenge this August and I have to read some books – something like a read-a-thon, but the whole month. There had 7 different categories and I completed 6 of them, so I’m kind of content. Well, let’s see what I did read in the month of August! The Tales of Beedle the Bard Author: J.K. Rowling Series: Hogwarts Library Well, this book was released in Bulgaria long…

    June & July Wrap Up

And it looks like July is almost over. I missed the wrap up last month, so this one is going to be for the both months. Plus, at the end of the post I’ll write some more things about this website and my blog. But first, let’s see the books, which I’d managed to read the last two months. ~~~ As you may see I’d been able to buy and read one of Harry Potter’s school books – “Quidditch Through the Ages” by the incredible Kennilworthy Whisp and with the help of the famous J.K. Rowling. As I’m also a fan of this so popular magic game and also very…

    May Wrap Up

Another month has passed and again I failed to write a lot in here. And well, I also failed at reading – I managed to read 5 books only, but it was May and there had tons of birthdays, celebrations and lots of other things to do. But, June is here and I’ll try to read more. ~~~ “Clockwork Princess” by Cassandra Clare The last book from “The Infernal Devices” trilogy! I think that I finished it way too fast. It left a sweet taste and many emotions. You can read my review in here! ~~~ “Debt Inheritance” by Pepper Winters I wanted to read this book and i owned…
